Dee Roscioli to replace Nicole Parker as Elphaba in “WICKED” Broadway


No more innuendo on who will take up “Elpahaba’s” role in smashing hit “Wicked” on Broadway, after Nicole Parker announced she will be leaving the show.

As from July 21st and making her Broadway debut, Dee Roscioli will be recreating the role of Elphaba and joining Alli Mauzey as the leading witches in the show.

Roscioli, closed out the Chicago production of the show in the same role in January of this year and was last spotted in the San Francisco company as the temporary standby for Elphaba.

Nicole Parker will play her last performance at the Gershwin on Sunday, July 19th, but stated shw would love to comeback some day in the future.

Let’s welcome Dee, and a heartfelt farewell to Nicole.

  1. Congratulations Dee! Loved seeing you in Chicago again and again…. and now it seems I need to be looking at flight plans to catch you on Broadway.

    Hope you have a wonderful long run so those in New York will get to see the same great talent and person behind the talent that Chicago has enjoyed.
