Girl of the Week: Vicki Noon


Vicki originally joined the Chicago production of Wicked as an ensemble member and understudy for Elphaba in April 2008. She was later asked to join the Los Angeles production as the standby for Elphaba. She replaced Marcie Dodd on November 4, 2008 until the production’s closure on January 11, 2009.

The production shortly transfered to San Francisco where Vicki oringinated the standby role. Previews began January 27, 2009 with an official opening of February 6. During March-May 2009, she temporarily took over as lead Elphaba, while Teal Wicks was on extended leave, due to illness. Noon left the San Francisco production on March 7, 2010, and is now starring in the lead role on the show’s second national tour. She began performances on April 6, 2010, again replacing Marcie Dodd. Fellow standby Natalie Daradich stars opposite her, as Glinda.

Among her other credits is the North American tour of Mamma Mia!, in which she played Sophie.
