Memphis celebrates 200th shows in Broadway


MEMPHIS, the musical which is currently playing at the Shubert Theatre (225 W. 44th Street), celebrated on April 10th at 8pm show their 200th performace.

Cast and crew celebrated this milestone in true MEMPHIS style with dinner from Carmine’s and cake between shows.

MEMPHIS features an original story by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) and a brand-new score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

MEMPHIS stars Chad Kimball (Huey Calhoun) and Montego Glover (Felicia Farrell) with Derrick Baskin (Gator),J. Bernard Calloway (Delray Jones), James Monroe Iglehart (Bobby), Tony nominee Michael McGrath (Mr. Simmons), and Cass Morgan (Gladys Calhoun).
