Joshua Jackson and Khail Toi Bryant have joined the cast of The Lion King at Broadway.
These two new cubs can be seen at the Minskoff Theatre as Young Simba and Young Nala. Jackson will alternate the role with current cast member Alophonso Romero Jones II, and Toi Bryant will switch off with Skannon Skye Tavarez.
This is the Broadway debut for both actors. Disney’s The Lion King is the eighth longest running show in Broadway history. The production, based on the hit animated film of the same name, opened on November 13, 1997, and went on to win six Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
