Teal Wicks and Katie Rose Clarke to sing on Aug. 4 at Broadway in Bryant Park


Participants have been announced for the Aug. 4 performance of “106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2011,” the free weekly Broadway concert series on the Bryant Park Stage.

Sponsored by Bank of America and Clean Air NY and hosted by Lite fm’s on-air personalities, the 11th annual presentation of lunch-hour performances began July 7 and will continue through Aug. 11. Attendees can expect performances from the casts of Sister Act, Catch Me If You Can, Billy Elliot, Memphis, Hair, Jersey Boys, Rent, The Lion King, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia!and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, among others.

Remaining performances are scheduled for 12:30 PM-1:30 PM on Thursdays, Aug. 4 and 11. Bryant Park is located behind the New York Public Library on 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd streets. Lawn seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Aug. 4 performance, hosted by 106.7 Lite fm’s Bob Bronson, will feature Jersey Boys’ Russell Fischer, Erik Bates, Ryan Jesse, Miles Aubrey, Brad Bass, Cara Cooper, John Edwards, Katie O’Toole, Jessica Rush, Sara Schmidt and Taylor Sternberg; The Lion King‘s Joel Karie and Selloane Nkhela; Rent cast members; Wicked‘s Teal Wicks, Katie Rose Clarke, Richard Blake; and Death Takes a Holiday‘s Mara Davi, Kevin Earley, Alexandra Socha, Max von Essen and Jill Paice.

As a bonus, Bank of America will award a year’s worth of free Broadway tickets to a lucky winner. To enter visit the Bank of America tent on the Bryant Park fountain terrace from 11 AM-2 PM on any of the six Broadway in Bryant Park dates, or visit any participating Bank of America banking center.
